Accessing the Settings Menu

The settings menu in Dynastic Era is your central hub for customizing the game to your preferences. You can access it from the main menu by clicking the gear icon, or during gameplay by pressing the Escape key and selecting the gear icon. The menu is divided into several tabs: Graphics, Audio, Controls, Gameplay, and Interface. Each tab contains a range of options that allow you to fine-tune your experience.

Graphics Settings

The Graphics tab offers a variety of options to balance visual fidelity and performance. Dynastic Era is a lightweight title, but adjusting these settings can help ensure smooth gameplay on a range of PC hardware.

• Resolution: Select your monitor's native resolution for the clearest image. Lower resolutions can boost performance on less powerful systems.
• Display Mode: Choose between Fullscreen, Windowed, and Borderless Windowed. Fullscreen typically offers the best performance.
• VSync: Enable this to prevent screen tearing, but it may introduce input lag. Disable it for higher frame rates.
• Quality Preset: Quickly adjust all settings using presets like Low, Medium, High, and Ultra. Start with High and adjust individual settings as needed.
• Texture Quality: Affects the detail of in-game textures. Higher settings use more video memory (VRAM).

Interface Settings

Saving and Applying Settings
