How Progression Works in Idlemoor

Idlemoor uses a hybrid idle-active progression model. Your Wanderer keeps advancing over time through server-side saves even while you are away, but active players can make sharper decisions, react to community events, manage the marketplace, and push deeper into the world. The game is built for long-term growth: short check-ins, longer grinds, rare drops, and slow accumulation of power.

The progression system consists of several interconnected pillars: combat, training, gathering, crafting, gear, pilgrimage, and the player economy. Each feeds into the others, creating a complex meta-game with near-infinite build possibilities.

Combat Progression

Combat is the core progression path in Idlemoor. Your character fights creatures across the dark fantasy realm, earning experience, loot drops, and building kill streaks. The deeper you push into dangerous areas, the better the rewards.
