Restoration Druid

Restoration Druid is the KING of MoP PvP. What defines Resto Druid in Mists of Pandaria is CONTROL - at the core of CC is Soul of the Forest, a passive which increases spell haste by 100% for your next spell, including Cyclone. Combined with Symbiosis for sharing abilities with other classes and Heart of the Wild for damage AND healing, Resto Druid has everything.

Night Elf is by far the best Alliance option. Shadowmeld is an unbelievably powerful racial as a healer, allowing you to cancel incoming spell casts, completely immune abilities with precise timing, and even act as an emergency defensive.

Intellect is the MOST important stat by far since it increases ALL downstream healing.

Get at LEAST 12.52% Haste. This stat works differently in older expansions - not only makes casts faster but gives more ticks on HoTs. This breakpoint gives +1 tick on Rejuvenation and Tranquility, and +2 ticks on Lifebloom.

Once you reach the Haste breakpoint, prioritize Mastery while maintaining enough Spirit to feel comfortable. Mana is mostly an issue in Season 13, so you might want more Spirit early on.

Critical Strike is the least important secondary stat and should be avoided at all costs.
