How Multiplayer Works in BUNNYBastion

BUNNYBastion is primarily a single-player experience, but it includes a dedicated co-op mode that allows you to team up with friends. In this mode, each player controls their own Bunny hero, building defenses and fighting off waves of enemies together. The game does not feature competitive multiplayer or a traditional matchmaking queue; instead, you can invite friends directly through the Steam friends list.

To start a multiplayer session, select "Co-op" from the main menu. You can either host a game or join a friend's lobby. The host chooses the difficulty and map, and all players must have the same game version. Progress in co-op is shared, but each player keeps their own individual upgrade progression from the single-player campaign.

Setting Up a Co-op Session

• Role Division: Assign roles before the match. One player focuses on chokepoint defenses (walls and aoe turrets), while another handles single-target damage for elites.
• Resource Pooling: Decide early who will build the first turrets. It’s often better for one player to invest in economy upgrades while others build defenses.
• Cover the Map: Spread out to cover multiple lanes. If one player’s area is overwhelmed, others can rotate to help.
