Campaign Overview: Welcome to the Funhouse

Lucky's Funhouse plunges you into a twisted, single-player survival horror adventure. You are trapped inside a derelict amusement park, stalked by a mysterious entity known only as "Lucky." Your primary goal is to survive the night, uncover the dark secrets behind the funhouse's creation, and find a way to escape. The campaign is a linear but branching narrative, meaning your choices directly influence which of the multiple endings you will achieve. This guide will walk you through the core structure of the story, key areas, and critical decision points to help you navigate the horrors that await.

Chapter 1: The Arrival and First Puzzles

Your journey begins outside the main gates of Lucky's Funhouse. The atmosphere is immediately oppressive, with flickering lights and the distant sound of carnival music. Your first objective is to find a way inside. The main gate is locked, requiring you to solve a simple environmental puzzle. Look for a missing gear near the ticket booth and a note from a former employee that hints at the lock's mechanism.

Once inside, you enter the "Midway," a central hub area that connects to the game's main zones. Here, you will encounter your first minor threats: animated stuffed animals and malfunctioning arcade machines. Your initial tools are limited to a flashlight and a "Repair Wrench," which can be used to fix certain objects and solve puzzles.

After securing the Midway, your first major area is the "Funhouse Mirror Maze." This section is a test of navigation and observation. The mirrors distort reality, and some reflections show the past or hint at future events. You must find and activate three "Calibration Switches" to realign the mirrors and unlock the path forward. Be warned: Lucky makes her first non-scripted appearance here. She will stalk you through the maze, and direct eye contact is fatal. You must keep moving and use the mirrors to break her line of sight.

Chapter 2: The Theater of Madness

Exiting the mirror maze leads you to the "Grand Theater." This area is the heart of the narrative, where you learn about the funhouse's tragic history. The stage is set for a play that never ended, and the props and costumes are possessed by the spirits of the original performers.

Your objective here is to collect four "Script Pages" scattered throughout the backstage area. Each page provides a piece of the story and a clue to a puzzle involving the stage lights and sound system.

• Page 1: Located in the Director's Office, behind a painting.
• Page 2: Found in a dressing room, locked inside a safe. The combination is hinted at in a letter on the desk.
• Page 3: Held by a hostile "Stagehand" enemy. You must distract it by turning on the stage lights from a control panel.
• Page 4: In the orchestra pit, accessible only after you solve a sound-based puzzle by matching musical notes.

Once you have all four pages, you must arrange them on the stage to "perform" the play. The order matters, and a wrong sequence will summon multiple enemies. The correct order is: 3, 1, 4, 2. Successfully completing the performance will unlock the door to the next area and reveal a major cutscene about Lucky's origin.

Chapter 3: The Underground Labyrinth

Beneath the theater lies the "Underground Labyrinth," a network of maintenance tunnels and forgotten storage rooms. This is the most dangerous area of the campaign. The lighting is poor, and the environment is claustrophobic. Lucky is now fully aggressive and will actively hunt you.

Your goal is to restore power to three generators to open the final exit gate. Each generator is located in a different sub-section of the labyrinth:

1. The Boiler Room: Guarded by a group of "Spider-Props." Use the environment to create bottlenecks and take them out one by one.
2. The Old Storage: A puzzle-heavy area where you must use a "Lift Control" to move heavy crates and create a path to the generator.
3. The Water Processing Plant: The generator is submerged. You must find and install three "Water Pumps" to drain the area. This section has a timed element, as the water level will slowly rise again.

Once all three generators are active, the exit door opens. However, Lucky will be waiting for you in the final corridor. You cannot fight her. You must use the "Emergency Escape Route" located to the left of the main path, which is a narrow vent shaft she cannot enter.

Chapter 4: The Final Confrontation and Endings

The escape route leads you to the "Funhouse Core," the central control room for the entire park. Here, you will face the final challenge: a confrontation with Lucky, not through combat, but through a series of moral and narrative choices.

You will be presented with a "Memory Viewer" that shows three key moments from Lucky's past. Each memory has a "Truth" and a "Lie" associated with it. Your choices here determine your ending.

The game has three main endings:

1. The Escape Ending: You choose to show Lucky the truth of her creation, breaking the curse. She allows you to leave, and the funhouse collapses. You escape, but the memory of Lucky remains.
2. The Understanding Ending: You show compassion and choose to stay with Lucky, helping her find peace. You both become spirits of the funhouse, and the cycle begins anew, but with a sense of closure.
3. The Madness Ending: You choose to embrace the chaos and join Lucky in her madness. You become the new caretaker of the funhouse, hunting the next visitor. This is the "bad" ending.

Post-Campaign and New Game Plus

After completing the campaign for the first time, you unlock "New Game Plus" mode. This mode carries over your upgrades and offers increased enemy difficulty and new, more complex puzzles. Additionally, you will find new lore documents that fill in the gaps of the story.
