Pink Slip Hearts features a branching narrative where your choices as the CPO determine which character routes become available. The game uses a progressive unlock system: completing one route often unlocks new dialogue options and paths for others. Start a new game and focus on building your "Influence" stat early. Lena responds to professional competence. In Chapter 1, choose "Discuss the technical roadmap" during the team meeting. In Chapter 2, when Lena challenges your decision, select "Explain your reasoning calmly" rather than asserting authority.

The critical choice comes in Chapter 3. You must choose "Share your own experience with failure" when Lena opens up about a past project. This option is only available if you have the "Empathy" trait. Missing this locks you into a neutral ending.

Keep your "Stress" stat below 50 during Lena's route. High stress triggers negative dialogue options that damage your relationship with her. Use the "Take a break" action in the office between key scenes.

Final Route: Sora

Sora, the mysterious consultant, is the final character you should pursue. Her route requires knowledge from both previous playthroughs. You must have completed both Mia and Lena's routes to unlock all of Sora's dialogue branches.

Sora's route is the most complex. It involves hidden choices that are not clearly marked. In Chapter 1, you must choose "Notice the inconsistency in her report" during the briefing. This option only appears if you have completed the other two routes.

The sequence of choices for Sora is precise:

  1. Chapter 1 Choice

    Select "Notice the inconsistency in her report" during the morning briefing. This shows you are paying attention to details.

  2. Chapter 2 Choice

    Choose "Ask about her previous company" during the one-on-one meeting. This opens her backstory.

  3. Chapter 3 Choice

Unlock Order for Endings

Each character has three endings: Good, Neutral, and Bad. The unlock order for endings follows a similar progression. You must first achieve the Good ending for a character before the Neutral ending becomes available in a subsequent playthrough. The Bad ending is always available from the start.

The game tracks your ending completions across all save files. Once you have all three Good endings, a secret "True Ending" becomes available. This requires a new playthrough where you balance all three relationships evenly.

The True Ending has a hidden requirement: you must have exactly 50 Influence, 50 Empathy, and 50 Stress at the start of Chapter 5. Use the stat tracking screen to monitor your progress. Any stat below 45 or above 55 locks you out.
