Unlike many puzzle games, Wordrix weaves a subtle narrative through its word challenges, and your ability to solve them under specific conditions determines which conclusion you see.

• The Hidden Ending
• The True Ending

The Standard Ending

The Standard Ending is the default conclusion you will reach by playing through the campaign normally. To achieve this ending, you must complete all the required short-task phrases in the campaign without meeting the special conditions for the other endings.

Requirements:

• Finish the final campaign level.
• Do not complete all optional secret word challenges.
• Do not maintain a perfect streak of first-attempt solves.

This ending provides a satisfactory conclusion to the main story thread. You will see the credits roll after solving the final hidden word. It is the most common ending for first-time players who are still learning the mechanics.

The Hidden Ending

The Hidden Ending is triggered by uncovering all the secret lore words scattered throughout the campaign. These are not part of the main path and require you to explore every optional puzzle node.

Requirements:

• Find and solve all hidden word fragments in the campaign.
• These fragments are often located in side paths that appear after solving a main puzzle with a specific letter combination.
• You must solve every hidden fragment before completing the final mission.

Once you have collected all fragments, the final puzzle will have an additional layer of complexity. Solving it reveals the Hidden Ending, which expands on the game's lore and hints at a larger mystery.

The True Ending: How to Unlock It

The True Ending is the most difficult to achieve and requires near-perfect play. It rewards players who have mastered the game's mechanics.

Requirements:

• Complete the entire campaign on the highest difficulty setting.
• Achieve a "Perfect Solve" (solving the word on the first guess) for every mandatory puzzle in the campaign.
• Collect all hidden lore fragments (as required for the Hidden Ending).
• Do not use any hints or skips during the entire playthrough.

Does Your Choice of Difficulty Affect the Ending?

• Easy / Normal Difficulty: You can only unlock the Standard Ending. The Hidden Ending is not accessible.
• Hard Difficulty: You can unlock both the Standard and Hidden Endings.

Can You Get All Endings in One Playthrough?

No, you cannot unlock all three endings in a single playthrough. The conditions for the Standard Ending and the True Ending are mutually exclusive. If you achieve a Perfect Solve on every puzzle, you will bypass the Standard Ending entirely.
