Save File Location

MECCHA CHAMELEON stores your game progress locally on your PC. The save file is located in a specific folder within your user directory. To find it, follow these steps:

1. Open File Explorer on your Windows PC.
2. In the address bar, paste the following path: %AppData%\lemorion_1224\MECCHA_CHAMELEON
3. Press Enter. You will be taken to the game's save folder.

Inside this folder, you will typically find a file named save.dat or savedata.sav. This single file contains all your progress, including unlocked colors, achievements, and game settings. The exact filename may vary slightly depending on game updates, but the folder location remains consistent.

How to Back Up Your Save

Backing up your MECCHA CHAMELEON save file is a simple process that protects your progress against data loss, corruption, or accidental deletion. We recommend creating a backup before reinstalling the game or switching to a new PC.

1. Locate the save folder

   Navigate to %AppData%\lemorion_1224\MECCHA_CHAMELEON as described above.

2. Copy the save file

2. Install the game on the new PC

   Download and install MECCHA CHAMELEON on your new computer via Steam. Launch the game at least once to generate the default save folder.

3. Replace the save file

4. Verify the transfer
