In Robot Hospice, your choices during each robot's final days directly determine their ending. Unlike many games, there is no single "good" or "bad" outcome—each ending reflects the unique bond you formed. The Five Core Robot Endings
Each robot you care for has two possible endings: a standard farewell or a special farewell. Your actions during their stay determine which you receive.
Unit 734 - The Gardener
Standard: Unit 734 peacefully shuts down in the greenhouse. Special: You help it plant a final seed, and it enters a dormant state surrounded by blooming flowers. To unlock special, water the plants daily and listen to its stories three times.
Model K-9 - The Companion
Standard: K-9 curls up in its bed and powers off. Special: K-9 plays its favorite song one last time before shutting down. To unlock special, play fetch five times and repair its audio module.
Series 8 - The Archivist
Standard: Series 8 deletes its memory core. Special: It transfers its memories to a backup terminal, preserving its knowledge. To unlock special, help it organize all files and read three archived logs.
Unit 112 - The Musician
Standard: Unit 112 plays a final, incomplete melody. Special: You help it compose a complete symphony before it powers down. To unlock special, bring it all four missing sheet music pieces.
Model A-3 - The Caretaker
Standard: A-3 cleans the facility one last time and stops. Special: It teaches you a maintenance routine, then shuts down with a smile. To unlock special, assist with cleaning tasks ten times.
How to Unlock the True Ending
The true ending in Robot Hospice requires you to achieve special farewells for all five core robots in a single playthrough. This is the most challenging ending to obtain.
Complete All Special Farewells
Ensure you trigger the special ending for Unit 734, Model K-9, Series 8, Unit 112, and Model A-3. Missing even one will lock you out of the true ending.
Visit the Central Terminal
After the fifth special farewell, a new area opens: the Central Terminal. Head there immediately. Do not skip any dialogue.
Make the Final Choice
At the terminal, you must choose to upload your own memories. This sacrifices your character's data but preserves the robots' collective consciousness. This is the only path to the true ending.
The true ending is permanent. After triggering it, your save file will be marked as "completed." You can still replay the game from the beginning, but you cannot continue from that save. See the restart guide for details.
Hidden Endings and Secret Farewells
Beyond the core five, there are two hidden endings that require specific conditions.
The Reunion Ending: If you fail to complete any special farewells but still visit the Central Terminal, you get a brief scene where all robots appear as ghosts. This is considered the "bad" ending by the community.
The Loop Ending: If you complete all special farewells but refuse to upload your memories at the Central Terminal, the game loops back to day one. You retain your knowledge, but all robot progress resets. This is a narrative device hinting at the cycle of care.

Can I get all endings in one playthrough? No. Each playthrough allows only one set of endings per robot. To see all variations, you need multiple playthroughs.
